This is the same mapping as my DDJ-1000 with very minor adaptations (described below). All features, all pads, jog scratch and jogFXs taken from the 1000 work fine in the 800. Serato DJ Pro is a free upgrade for Serato DJ users who have an existing license or supported hardware. Alternatively, anyone can download and use Serato DJ Pro in Practice Mode without a license or hardware connected.
As well as the major updates in version 2.0 (see below), version 2.0.2 now includes support for the Rane SEVENTY‑TWO and the Rane TWELVE.
TRAKTOR PRO 2 from Native Instruments is now supported. (June 23, 2014) The firmware version 1.18 or later supports TRAKTOR PRO 2. The Setting File is required to be imported and TRAKTOR PRO 2 should be updated to Ver.2.6.8 when TRAKTOR PRO2 is used with DDJ-SZ. Improvement of the jog platter latency for scratching (May 20, 2014). This Setting File is required when using Native Instruments' TRAKTOR PRO 2 Ver 2.6.8 with the DDJ-SZ. Before use: depending on your computer's specifications, the reaction of the Preferences window may get slow after importing the Settings File.
